Dallas + Montana’s Summer Wedding at The Atrium, Merriam Woods MO

Dallas and Montana are seriously one of the most amazing couples I have ever had the opportunity of photographing. Their sweet, relaxed nature along with the strength of their love for one another is just beautiful. My barefoot bride and my dancing groom. You can’t help but to have anything but an amazing time when you are around them.

Their wedding day arrived on a gorgeous, sunny Summer day. The girls were just finishing up their hair and makeup when we arrived. The guys arrived and were relaxing in the groom’s suite.  Everyone was smiling and laughing all afternoon as they enjoyed preparing for this wonderful celebration. Montana’s mom & bridesmaids helped her finish getting dressed. She looked absolutely stunning. The designer may not have known it, but we all swear this dress was made for her. After a few final touches with her jewelry, Montana shared a first look with her dad. It was such a sweet moment as her mom and dad helped her put her veil on.

Finally, it was time for Dallas & Montana to share their first look. From the moment Dallas turned around to see his bride, their eyes barely left one another the rest of the day and night. Their love is so obvious to everyone who happens to be near them. After sharing this moment with one another, it was time for photographs with all of their favorite people. We had a blast laughing and joking our way thru photos with the wedding party. Then their families finished arriving for their turn at photographs with the happy couple.

Soon the rest of the guests began arriving. They grabbed fans and umbrellas and took a seat overlooking the stunning Ozark mountains. I can never get enough of this view. It is one of the many reasons why The Atrium is such a favorite venue of mine. Even though Dallas had already seen Montana, I swear, the moment those doors opened – it was as if he was seeing her for the first time as her dad escorted her down the aisle. They said their vows in a joy-filled ceremony before exchanging rings and their first kiss. Afterward, they excitedly made their way back down the aisle together surrounded by bubbles. They were officially husband and wife!!

The newlyweds snuck away upstairs for a private meal and moment together as guests headed inside to grab their own food and drinks. After dinner, the couple made their entrance down the stairs and guests cheered excitedly. Dallas & Montana then shared their first dance, choreographed and complete with cold sparks to entertain their guests. Then it was time for Montana to share a dance with her dad, even standing on his feet as she did as a little girl. Dallas also shared a sweet moment with his mom as they danced together. Much to her surprise, Dallas also wanted them to put on their own show as he attempted halfway thru to get his mom to do some booty-shaking of her own. Everyone was full of laughter as she shook her head at her son and walked away.

After the dances, it was time for speeches. Both toasts were filled with love for both Montana, Dallas, and the perfect pair they are together. Following toasts, it was time for Montana and Dallas to cut their wedding cake. I loved that they cut it to the song “Dancing it the Kitchen.” It was so cute and a perfect way to end the formalities as the dance floor opened up after the cake-cutting.  Montana had told me so many times how excited she was to dance the night away with all of her favorite people! She didn’t want an exit because she wanted to dance as long as she possibly could. And they definitely did! The dance floor was still going strong when we were finishing up for the evening!

Dallas & Montana, Congratulations again! I hope your day was everything you could have ever dreamed of. I am so thankful to have met you both and shared in such a perfect day! Thank You for choosing to share your love story with us!

Lots of Love,
Jessica
