This past weekend I had the honor & privilege of being a part of an amazing couple’s special day at Branson Garden Weddings. Kara & Neil are one of the most wonderful couples and I love watching them interact with one another. Their day was absolutely overflowing with the love of their family & friends. They had so many touching moments including a handfasting ceremony binding their commitment to one another and their sweet daughter, Olivia. They also honored Neil’s brother, Nick, who is no longer with us, by placing a pair of his dress shoes in line with the groomsmen, where he would have stood next to his brother. While I never had the opportunity to meet Nick, I could certainly feel his presence while overlooking the chairs of guests whose cheeks were wet with emotion.
There may have been small moments of sadness, but in the end, the day was full of so much love & celebration. There were so many memorable moments! Their entire day, from getting ready to getting down on the dance floor, was filled with so many smiles! I am so glad that I could be there to celebrate with them!
