Haley & Nick came down from Kansas City to celebrate their wedding day with all of their family & friends at Sparrow Lane, Wedding & Event Center. Due to crazy schedules not only did we not get a chance to meet beforehand- but they never even got to see the venue in person before their wedding day. But due to a gorgeous property and an amazing group of wedding professionals — everything was flawless…(except for maybe the cold)!
We started out the day with the wedding party finishing up the final last touches and getting ready! I immediately fell in love with Haley’s smile. I found myself taking even more photos than normal throughout the day. Her joy was absolutely contagious and you can’t help but laugh & smile alongside her. Nick was just as awesome. I loved how chill and relaxed he is.
The property is always beautiful – but this is easily one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve had in the chapel. It was stunning and the perfect backdrop for Nick & Haley’s first look and private vows. After they shared their private moment we spent some time getting photos of this beautiful couple and their wedding party! It was absolutely freezing outside with the frigid breeze – but this wedding party were total rockstars!! They kept their smiles up and knocked out their portraits in record time.
After an absolutely beautiful ceremony back in the chapel, we finished up a few last portraits with all of their family. I was able to snag a few super fast golden hour photos before we headed to the reception! This is what everybody was waiting for…time to relax and celebrate! Dinner, drinks, and LOTS of dancing!!! With Denny leading the crowd – this dance floor stayed full until the very last moment when Nick and Haley, laughing, were pushing people out the door for their private last dance before their grand exit with sparklers. Nobody wanted this night to end!!!
