Back from an incredible weekend in Chicago, I had the perfect ending back at home here in Springfield, finishing with Kayla and Randy’s engagement session at Nathanael Greene Park. It was one of those gorgeous, crisp November days where the sky was so clear, and the light was just right. Randy & Kayla were an absolute blast to hang out with! These two are so easy to be around—there’s a comfort between them that only comes from years of being together, an effortless connection that just feels right.
And their son, who hadn’t originally planned to jump into the photos, had a change of heart once we got there, bringing a whole lot of laughs along the way. We even managed to sneak in a few family shots!
We took our time strolling around the park, chatting about wedding plans, and getting to know each other. Before we knew it, the sun was slipping away, but none of us were ready to call it a night because we were having too much fun.
