Madelynn + Nathan | Dockley Rancy, Ava MO Wedding

I’m pretty sure that it can be said that Madelynn and Nathan’s wedding day was absolutely memorable for all who attended. Despite the weatherman calling for rain, the day arrived bright and sunny. We showed up to Dockley Ranch where the Alpacas, Donkeys, and Chickens were all enjoying sunbathing in the country air. Everyone had smiles on their faces as they got ready for the big day! The ceremony went beautifully and then moments afterward the clouds started rolling in and thunder echoed….but the smiles never really left this sweet couple’s faces. We grabbed a few photos with the stormy sky before the rain began falling. They simply rolled with it as dinner was served with the storm pouring down on their clear-topped tents. Guests laughed as they ran from tent to tent, not caring that their hair might not have been as perfect as it was just a little bit earlier. And then as if magic the skies cleared for a gorgeous sunset just in time for toasts, dancing and a photobooth with the donkeys.

It was such a perfect day, rain and all. Chrystal & I weren’t quite ready to leave when it came time to say goodbye because we were all having so much fun. The Alpaca’s seemed to agree. They actually blocked our car for almost 10 minutes!

Nathan & Madelyn, Thank You so much for choosing to share such a beautiful day with us! I hope you’re having an amazing time on your honeymoon!! Enjoy that ocean air that I miss so much!! 🌊
