About a month ago I received an email from the absolute best teacher my son has ever had. Let’s be honest–I may have cried when we couldn’t get my younger daughter into her class when the time came. We just adore her and so it was a wonderful surprise to hear from her out of the blue- especially even more so to hear that her daughter was getting married!!! Marli and Alec were going to be in town for the holidays to see family, do a little bit of wedding planning (like finding her PERFECT dress) and they wanted to have their engagement photos done while they are in town. And of course, I said yes I would do everything I could to make that happen. I knew by how much I adore her mom that I would absolutely love the bride-to-be. So after a quick chat with Marli about what she and Alec were looking for we made plans to get their session done, including a few with their sweet pups while they were here in town.
They could not have gotten luckier. The day was GORGEOUS! We squeezed in a few first with their furbabies while we could get their limited attention and then it was time to stroll the park and get to know one another. I loved hearing about their wedding plans so far. But I’d say that seeing how these two interact with one another was the absolute best. They were so relaxed…and because they wanted to be closer to one another – they kept posing themselves even before I could. The couples who are head over heels for one another just make my job a little too easy sometimes! 🙂 Needless to say, it was an absolutely amazing session and I wasn’t ready for it to end. I cannot wait to finish going thru all of their photos!!!
