Brittany and Shawn came from Joplin, MO for their engagement session. They wanted those downtown vibes so we met up at Hotel Vandivort to grab a couple of drinks first. I always like to plan a little extra time if we haven’t met in person yet – just so we can just get to know each other a little bit better Plus it helps shake out any nervousness that might be present. As we talked I found myself getting so excited for their wedding day, even before we could really even begin their engagement photos. These two are AMAZING people. Seriously, they are both so kind and funny! When they brought up why they felt I was the best fit for them, I felt myself fight back a few tears. I instantly knew they had such beautiful hearts. Plus, I fell in love with both of their smiles right from the beginning. They were absolutely contagious and I couldn’t help wanting to capture their smiles and laughter over and over again. I’m already pre-planning some of those serious “drama” shots on the big day for Brittany, even if it is her individually because when they are together they are simply so full of joy that they cannot even contain it! It’s just perfect!! Everyone deserves to have somebody that brings so much happiness to their lives.
