This past weekend we headed to Eureka Springs to celebrate with Mary & Levi. Anytime I have out-of-state couples there is a good chance we haven’t had a chance to meet in person yet. But when we arrived at Stonehaven Castle we immediately felt welcomed by everyone. The guys were in the kitchen cooking breakfast for everyone before they headed outside to play cornhole while the girls were getting pampered upstairs. This was seriously just one of the most fun groups we’ve been able to work with.
Mary shared several first looks that brought a mixture of laughter and happy tears. The bridesmaids and groomsmen were filled with smiles – and we were all fighting back tears when Mary’s son came in to see her. Then the house was filled with laughter after Mary dressed their officiant in a reception gown to fake out Levi, which definitely seemed to ease his nerves waiting to finally see his bride-to-be. But the best was saved for last when Levi and Mary could finally see and hold onto one another. After sharing their private vows full of love for one another it was time to bring out the newest member of their family for some photos. You could tell that this precious little girl has her mom, dad, and big brother wrapped around her tiny fingers already!
After sharing a quick drink with their wedding party, everyone headed to Thorncrown Chapel for the ceremony. This glass chapel is one of the most beautiful locations. And as the light danced across the windows, Mary & Levi said “I Do” and officially became husband and wife, surrounded by their closest family & friends. After the ceremony and some quick portraits – it was time to head back to Stonehaven Castle for their beautiful reception on the lawn. They shared their first dances – as well as a special one with their kids, as the sun set slowly behind the trees. While they may have kept their wedding intimate with their closest loved ones, it was still a large party! Everyone was truly there to celebrate. The steamy temperature of the day slowly went down – and the music got louder as the drinks stayed flowing and the dance floor stayed full.
