Miranda & Zachary’s Storybook Wedding Day | Mildred B Cooper & The Old Glass Place

From the first moment I heard their story, it was like Zach and Miranda’s love story was straight out of a romance novel. From the moment I met them at their engagement session, I was in love with this amazing couple. I could have kept photographing them all night. The amount of love you see in their eyes can take your breath away. So it’s no surprise that I was impatiently waiting for their wedding day so that I could get them back in front of my camera once again.

We headed down to Bella Vista, Arkansas to meet Miranda & Zach at the gorgeous Mildred B Cooper Glass Chapel. After getting ready, the couple shared a quick moment to pray with one another before it was time to officially become husband and wife. Even without seeing one another, the emotions were strong. I almost thought Miranda might sneak a peek at him around the corner because she was so excited. So after hiding them away, all of the guests began arriving at the chapel (all dressed in black by request of the couple – which was AMAZING). Everyone was so happy and ready to share in this special moment. To make the day extra special, Miranda’s grandfather officiated the wedding. After sharing their personal vows and lighting their unity candle it was time to make it official. And then, one of my absolute favorite moments of the day, Zach went in for the kiss before it was announced. His love for Miranda had made everyone else in the room disappear. So after a round of laughter, the couple finally had their chance to share their first kiss as husband and wife.

After the ceremony, the guests all headed back to Springfield, MO for the wedding reception and we headed to the airport. The sun was shining brightly as the couple rolled up on the tarmac, and the groom helped his bride out of the car into the plane. He may not have been flying this time himself, but it was only fitting that this pilot and his bride would fly back to Springfield in style. After a few portraits, we headed back to downtown Springfield to the gorgeous Old Glass Place. I have been waiting anxiously to get a chance to photograph a wedding here. (I mean, it’s only taken like 8 years of my career since I started doing weddings in Missouri!!) Even though I waited much longer than I would have liked – I am so glad this was the wedding I had there first. This perfect couple and the romantic lighting of the venue were a perfect fit. The reception was filled with their favorite people ready to celebrate their special day. The evening was filled with so much love. After winning the cake jar competition, Miranda sweetly smeared cake and icing all over Zach’s face before he thanked her with a kiss. And then before the garter toss – he showed off some fancy dance moves sending laughter thru the crowd. Afterward, everyone danced the rest of the night away. The dog of honor even showed up for the last few dances before the couple was sent off thru a sea of sparklers! It was the perfect ending to a perfect day!

Miranda & Zachary, Thank you both, and your families, for sharing all of these special memories with us. I just know that there are going to be so many more amazing chapters in your romance novel – and I can’t wait to see them. Congratulations again!!!

Lots of Love,
Jessica
