Connor & Grace’s Wedding | Drury Stone Chapel & Savoy Ballroom

Connor & Grace’s wedding day was absolutely perfect and will definitely always be one of my favorite weddings! We started the day out at Drury’s Stone Chapel. The girls had all arrived and were in the process of finishing up hair and makeup! Everyone was full of smiles and laughter as this group mingled together and the boys slowly began arriving. It was almost like a mini-reunion since a large number of the wedding party had known each other since their days at High School – and Grace’s college friends just added to the party.

Grace’s mom and maid-of-honor helped her finish getting dressed. She looked like an absolute princess!!! Grace’s vintage style just gave all the royalty-vibes. Event Grace’s engagement ring was an estate piece and both of their wedding bands were family heirlooms. Soon, it was time for Grace to share a special moment with her dad and then finally her groom! Both moments were so full of emotion and I found myself getting teary eyed yet again. The way Connor looked at his bride was perfect! There is so much love between these two! They’ve had so many years of building such an amazing relationship and everyone around can see just how much they adore one another. After the first looks it was time for some portraits with their wedding party! This group had me laughing and smiling the entire time. It was such a blast! After some portraits outside we headed upstairs to get a few more with family in the chapel and a few more of our bride & groom in this beautiful space.

Soon it was time for the ceremony which was just as perfect as their own love story. Their vows brought tears all around. I honestly wasn’t sure if they were going to be able to get thru them with all of the intensity of their love being expressed. But they made it thru, and before we knew it they were officially being pronounced husband and wife!!

As soon the ceremony was over we snuck out the doors and across the street to Central High School. We wanted to make sure to capture this background since it was such an important part of where their love story began. We took a few photos with all of the “Central kids” as I began referring to them for ease and then sent people on their way to the reception so we could capture a few last photos in the fading sunlight. After finishing up at Central, we headed back across the street to Stone Chapel. It felt like a beautiful reference to where they had begun to where they met to where their marriage began.

As the sun fell completely away it was time to head to The Savoy Ballroom where all of their family & friends were waiting. Everyone welcomed the wedding party and then the bride & groom to loud cheers! After a brief welcome to everyone, it was time for an amazing dinner by Simply Delicious Catering. (You can never go wrong with Simply Delicious!!!) After dinner, it was time for some amazing speeches. They were filled with so many wonderful stories that brought both tears of joy and laughter. Then during their first dance, I could see tears flowing yet again. I truly wish everybody could have a love like the one this sweet sweet couple has!

Grace & Connor – THANK YOU for choosing and allowing me to share this beautiful moment in your love story! You have such an amazing group of family and friends and I’m so grateful to have met each and every one of you. I am wishing you so much love and happiness as you begin this next chapter!!

Lots of Love,
Jessica
